  • How long does a new website project take?

    As each project is completely unique, the time it takes to deliver the final website depends on a number of factors, including client response times, the required deliverables and our current workload.

    Typically, our all-inclusive website solution will take anywhere from 4-6 weeks, however, this timeline is only accurate if we get reasonable response times from our clients when we request feedback or information.

    At the start of your project, we’ll always give you an estimate of how long it will take to complete the project.

    We’ll communicate any changes in delivery time before you commit to the project and will make sure to keep you up to date at every key milestone.

  • What if I need my website sooner?

    If our standard timeline doesn’t work for you, please let us know and we’ll do what we can to meet your deadline. Please note that a rush fee may apply, and we aren’t always able to accommodate expedited projects due to the required size, complexity or timeframe of the website.

    Creating a professional website is a detailed process and because we care about what we do, we always take the necessary time to ensure a quality end result. We pride ourselves on completing any project in a timely manner and will keep clients notified at every step.

  • Do you perform any SEO my web design project?

    Absolutely.

    Included in our all-inclusive website solution is what we call our “Foundational SEO review”.

    This covers the SEO basics to ensure every search engine can index your site and crawl your content efficiently and without any issues. It also includes custom-written titles and meta descriptions for all the key pages on the site.

  • Will I be able to update the website myself?

    To make sure you’re able to take ownership of your site, we always opt for user-friendly platforms such as WordPress, Webflow and Shopify. This makes it easy for you to update the content of your website without needing to contact a web developer.

    We can also provide training and education to make sure you and your team know how to navigate the back end of your website to implement changes yourself. And if you ever get stuck, Red Kite and our web development partners are always on hand to offer support.

  • Are there any ongoing costs?

    Not from us. The website design and build are a one-off fee.

    However, as with all websites, there are recurring third-party fees for your domain and hosting provider, which are necessary and unavoidable.

    We do also recommend purchasing an ongoing maintenance and security package to protect your website from hacking, errors caused by out-of-date plugins, and other unforeseen issues. This is a small cost for peace of mind and improved uptime.

  • What if I don’t like the design?

    We always design the homepage first to make sure we get your input as early as possible in the process and avoid making complex changes once the full website build has begun. 

    Changes during the initial design stage are not a problem and are an important part of the creative process. However, while your input is valued, it’s always worth bearing in mind that the design is aimed to be visually appealing for your target audience and may not always be to your own personal taste.

  • Do you have any examples of your work?

    Yes! We’ve worked on many different projects in a variety of styles and sectors, creating a website design to suit the client, their specific needs, and the needs of their target audience.

  • How long does it take to get a logo animation video produced?

    While we’re an Australian-based team our logo animation services can be provided remotely, no matter where in the world you’re located.

    Here in Australia, we have experience working with clients from Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide, Cairns, Tasmania, so distance is never an issue.

    We use online Zoom sessions or good old fashioned phone calls to keep in touch with our clients and ensure that the project runs smoothly from start to finish.

  • Do you do website design?

    We design websites of all shapes, sizes and types. Each website we design is fully responsive, so they look great on mobile devices, and we build with SEO and digital marketing in mind. However, as a graphic design service, we focus on the visual side of web design, working with trusted partners who will take care of things like coding and hosting on our behalf.

  • How long does a discovery session & deep-dive brand intensive last?

    Our discovery sessions usually last about 30 minutes and help us get a general understanding of your business to help us develop your visual identity.

    If you work with us on a complete identity package (both visual & verbal elements), then we’ll facilitate a deep-dive brand intensive with you which usually lasts anywhere between 1-3 hours.

    The length of the deep-dive intensive depends on a few factors, such as how many people are in attendance or how established your brand is. We’re a friendly bunch, so we promise either way there won’t be anything to be worried about!

  • Do you provide copywriting services?

    We don’t offer standalone copywriting—but we do write copy as part of certain deliverables, like websites, packaging, or sales materials.

    Our main focus is helping you define your tone of voice and creating detailed brand messaging guidelines as part of our Brand Master solution. These come packed with things like your brand story, positioning, values, taglines, and more—so you’ve got a solid base for writing anything.

  • Do you offer brand messaging as a standalone service?

    No, we don’t offer brand messaging on its own. It’s included as part of our full-service branding solutions—like Brand Master or Brand My Product—or integrated into other design projects where messaging plays a key role.

  • Which branding packages include brand messaging?

    Brand messaging is included in our Brand Master and Brand My Product solutions. These packages include everything from tone of voice and taglines to positioning statements and a complete messaging framework.

  • Do you include copywriting in your web design service?

    Yes! If we’re designing your website, we’ll also write the website copy. That includes the content for every page, headlines, calls-to-action, and anything else needed to bring your brand to life online.

  • Do you write content for brochures, sales decks, or other materials?

    Absolutely. If we’re designing your sales materials or collateral, we can include copywriting support to make sure the messaging is clear, on-brand, and effective. Just let us know what you need.
